Fallen Hero - 12.5% Barrel Aged Barley Wine. Brewed with Maris Otter and Crystal malt; hopped with British and American hops; fermented with our British yeast; and aged in freshly emptied bourbon and apple brandy barrels for 26 - 39 months. Pours a beautiful mahogany with a wispy khaki head and has decadent notes of Turkish figs, fermented raisins, graham cracker with toasted marshmallow, spicy bourbon, vanilla, rich malty Maris Otter, some kind of boozey caramel cake, maturity, and a sneaky abv that only the buzzing of your gums reveals.
