Fellow - 4% Mild - Collaboration with @HumanRobotBeer. We love getting together with Andrew and the Human Robot crew to make some beer; and we were especially excited to brew some Mild again with them at our place this year as we approach March Mildness. We brewed this beer with Maris Otter and Amber Malt, and a good bit of dark invert sugar; we hopped it gently with East Kent Goldings and Fuggles; and fermented it with our favourite top cropper yeast. This Mild is a good bit paler than our Dark Mild, but has a nice deep copper hue, and brings lots of malty aromatic notes to the party - we’re getting whiffs of whole wheat sourdough toast, straight from the bag Maris Otter, antique furniture shopping, baked pears with caramel, and some of the fruity-earthy-spice that the ol’ EKG/Fuggles combo shows off so well.
