Lunaire - 6% Barrel Aged Saison. Lunaire has been with us since the beginning. We love how it is always different and evolving, but somehow always the same; like the witness inside your consciousness. We brew Lunaire with local malts from @DeerCreekMalt, hop it with a blend of European and American hops, ferment with our Foraged Yeast Culture, age in wine barrels with our mixed culture, and condition in the bottle. This batch is presently showing notes of classic Brussels-style oaky brettanomyces, where you simultaneously talk about tropical fruits and rustic barnyard horse blankets, but also, wild cherry soda, whiffs of caramel, and some ethereal grapefruits and pineapples.
