New Ways Home - 6% Barrel Aged Saison with Persimmon. We’re really happy with this funky saison. It was brewed with barley and spelt, hopped with noble European hops, fermented with our foraged yeast culture, aged in our oak foeders with our mixed culture, further conditioned on some local persimmons, before a final fermentation in the bottle/keg. We’re getting notes of 2015 bangers, tamarind Jarritos, creamy oak like coconut, pink starburst, funky white grapes, rustic baguettes, and the saison joie de vivre.
